Awake Herbal Returns and Refund Policy
The following privacy policy describes how Awake Herbal handles requests for returns and refunds.
Change of Mind
Please choose carefully as we are not required to refund or exchange products if you have changed your mind.
Consumers
Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) you have guaranteed legal rights for goods you buy.
Consumer guarantees include:
- a guarantee that the goods are of acceptable quality, such that the goods are:
- fit for all the purposes for which goods of that type are commonly supplied.
- free from minor defects.
- safe
- durable; and
- acceptable in appearance and finish
- a guarantee that the goods are fit for any particular purpose made known by you, or for which we represent that they are or will be fit.
- a guarantee that the goods correspond with any description with which the goods are supplied; and
- a guarantee that the goods correspond with any sample or demonstration model where the goods are supplied by reference to such sample or model
If we supply goods that do not meet the consumer guarantee we will provide a remedy as required under the CGA. This is additional to the manufacturer warranties.
Incorrectly installed or use of the goods, which is inconsistent to the manner or extent of use that a reasonable consumer would expect to obtain from the goods; and the goods would have complied with the guarantee of acceptable quality if they had not been used in the manner or to that extent.
Businesses
If, as defined under sections 2 and 43 of the CGA, you are purchasing goods for business purposes you agree that the CGA does not apply to the supply of these goods and do not carry consumer guarantees.
Failures (minor and major)
Minor
Goods purchased that do not comply with a consumer guarantee, however, can be remedied in a reasonable time; will either be repaired or replaced with goods of an identical type. If a repair or replacement cannot be carried out in a reasonable time frame we will refund the purchase price.
Major
Goods purchased that cannot be repaired at all or repaired in a reasonable timeframe or is a failure of substantial character as described in section 21 of the CGA is deemed a major failure.
As such you have the right to return the goods and choose to have the returned goods replaced or a refund.
Goods Damaged in Transit
Goods arriving damaged please contact Awake Herbal within 24 hours of delivery. We will arrange the return of the damaged goods to us. We either repair or replace the goods or refund the price to you (at Awake Herbal’s discretion). Please contact us through awakeherbal@gmail.com or 022 040 9796..

Delivery Charges
Shipping costs returning the original goods to Awake Herbal will be at Awake Herbal’s cost, where Awake Herbal considers the goods are in breach of a consumer guarantee. Awake Herbal may charge a fee for examining the goods finds that no breach has occurred. This includes any costs returning the goods to you.
Refunds
Awake Herbal will issue refunds at its discretion and will be processed within one calendar month.
